What is Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop?

For example, Teams is configured for audio/video calling and meetings in AVD using special optimisations to reduce latency and improve performance.

AVD also supports Microsoft 365 licensing models, so your business can use existing Microsoft 365 subscriptions to enable virtual desktops without needing separate licenses for Office apps. The licences must be from the Microsoft 365 Business Premium and Microsoft 365 Enterprise plans.
